La Spiaggia

Today was the best day yet! We woke up a little late and took the bus to the beach in the town next to Salerno called Vietri. It's on a mountain so the walk down was quite interesting. The beach was a little bit rocky but it was great. The sun barely goes down until about 6pm so you can tan all day. No mom, I did not wear sunscreen. But, I'm super tan soo mission accomplished. This beach was surreal. I don't think I'm going to be able to enjoy Belmar as much anymore.

Last night was kind of crazy. We went to one restaurant and waited a half hour to sit down, another half hour to order and then they told us that the pizza would take 40 minutes to make. Ended up getting pizza somewhere else. Then, we went to a really popular piazza near the hostel. There were SO many people! It just looked like a sea of heads. We went to a bar called Alcohol Cafe (tacky yes). After a couple drinks, we decided to go home. But, first we stopped to get Kebab. Oh my gosh. This was the best thing I have ever eaten. I later found out it was lamb which kind of creeps me out but it was so good. I got meat, french fries and ketchup.

Tonight we're going to a restaurant that only uses mozzarella from buffalo milk. I have some homework to do too. Tomorrow is back to class!
